IT’S OFFICIAL: TikTok Wiz Is Now a TikTok Shop Partner
TikTok Shop changes faster than almost any platform sellers have ever had to keep up with, and for a long time there wasn’t a reliable place to find out what mattered before it cost someone money. This month that problem got a little smaller: TikTok named TikTok Wiz an official Shop Partner, a status only a small group of agencies hold.
The announcement was featured on IPS News, StreetInsider, Big News Network and TechBullion, each covering what the designation means for the agency and the sellers building their income on the platform.
We built the Inner Circle, a 1:1 mentorship for serious TikTok Shop builders, because one question kept coming up with no good answer: “Why did my sales just drop, and how was I supposed to know that was coming?” Sellers had good products, a real audience, real effort behind their shops. What they didn’t have was a fast, dependable way to find out what changed and what to do next. That’s what we’re here to fix.
The number that started it all
Over the past twelve months, TikTok Wiz members generated more than $6 million in attributed TikTok Shop sales. That’s real, tracked, attributed revenue, not a projection dressed up to sound good. That number is what put us on TikTok’s radar in the first place.
TechBullion’s write-up went the furthest into what that means day to day, and it’s worth unpacking properly. Being a Partner means TikTok tells select agencies about changes before they roll out platform-wide, and gives them access to seller support tools and technical resources that no non-partner gets. In plain language: when TikTok is about to change payout rules or adjust how videos get shown to shoppers, we find out before the wider seller community does.
StreetInsider also covered the announcement, noting that our team grew by roughly 33 percent year over year to support more than 600 active Inner Circle members. Growth like that is usually the reason a company gets slower to respond. For us, it’s part of why we were positioned to take on this designation in the first place.
TikTok Shop’s growth is honestly kind of wild
Big News Network’s feature leaned on numbers worth sitting with. In mid-2023, there were about 4,450 active shops on TikTok. Two years later, there were close to 475,000, a hundred-fold jump. By 2025, TikTok Shop’s U.S. gross merchandise value hit $15.82 billion, and some forecasts have the platform’s U.S. sales crossing $30 billion by 2028, ahead of what retailers like Best Buy or Kroger bring in annually.
In the coverage, our founder Jon Reiter put the real tension behind that growth plainly. The sellers succeeding right now aren’t necessarily the most experienced ones. They’re the ones who adapt fastest to a platform that rewrites its own rules every few months.
Why this moment matters beyond us
A lot of sellers building on TikTok Shop right now aren’t doing it as a side hobby. One stat that stood out: 53 percent of working Americans now rely on supplemental income just to cover essential expenses, and Gen Z has the highest participation in that kind of work of any age group.
Partner access matters most to the sellers who are already doing real, consistent numbers but still find out about platform changes secondhand, days after they’ve already affected sales.
